Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming on a one-day visit to Gujarat on September 8. During this visit, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of massive development works worth ₹35,200 crore for the entire state from the M.S. University Pavilion Ground in Vadodara. The main focus of this visit will be a modern concert-style interaction with the younger generation (Gen-Z) and the inauguration of the district BJP office equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) facilities in Navsari.
The 'Namo 4 Developed India' event in Vadodara has been specially designed keeping in mind the youth and professionals. A special 'Y' shaped ramp stage has been prepared at the venue, on which the Prime Minister will walk and interact informally with the 6,000 youth present. For the first time in the country, online registration was held through the 'BookMyShow' platform for entry to a government event, in which all the 6,000 passes were booked instantly, leaving around 36,000 people deprived of entry. The entire event will be covered live by a state-of-the-art 4K Ultra-HD camera setup.
Following the arrival of the Prime Minister, the entire Vadodara city has been decorated with attractive lights on major roads like Fatehganj, Karelibag and VIP Road. For security, a three-tier impenetrable shield has been set up from the airport to the meeting venue and more than 2,000 police personnel, 11 DCPs and 17 ACPs have been deployed. Along with drone surveillance, the fire brigade also carried out a search operation in the Vishwamitri river below Mangal Pandey Bridge through a boat with a bomb squad.
After completing the Vadodara program, PM Modi will reach Navsari in South Gujarat. Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate a district-level BJP office for the first time after becoming the Prime Minister. Built in a corporate style at a cost of approximately ₹10 crore, this building has become the country's first AI-enabled 'Namo Kamalam'. A Kalash Yatra will be organized by 1,100 women to welcome the PM in Navsari and 500 Damru players will greet him. After the inauguration, the Prime Minister will interact with more than 5,000 doctors, engineers and enlightened citizens.
