The Food and Drug Regulatory Authority has launched an investigation campaign to ensure that citizens get pure food items during festivals in Panchmahal district. As part of this, a food safety team conducted a surprise raid on a firm named 'Kishore Kumar Thavardas Hemnani' located on Dr. Gidhwani Road in Godhra.
Strict action has been taken by the Food and Drug Regulatory Authority in Panchmahal district to ensure that citizens get pure and quality food items during the upcoming festive season. The authority has launched a special inspection campaign against various products of sweets, edible oil and milk, as part of which intensive checking was carried out in Godhra city.
A food safety team conducted a surprise raid on a firm named 'Kishore Kumar Thavardas Hemnani' located on Dr. Gidhwani Road in Godhra. During the investigation, a total of 3 samples of ghee found to be suspicious have been obtained and sent to the laboratory for further analysis. Along with this, a quantity of suspicious ghee worth Rs. 57,200 has also been seized.
The administration has clearly warned that if any adulteration or impurity is found in the food after the laboratory report comes, strict legal action will be taken against the culprits as per the existing rules. This red eye of the administration has caused a huge uproar among the adulterators.
