The biggest individual achievement of the awards ceremony was recorded in the name of renowned actor Matthew Rhys. After winning the award for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for 'Widow's Bay', Rhys also won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series for the Netflix mini-series 'The Beast in Me'. With this, he became the first male actor in television history to win Emmys in two major acting categories in the same year. In addition, after winning as a drama actor for 'The Americans' in 2018, he also became the only male actor to win the award for Best Actor in all three major categories: Drama, Comedy and Limited Series.

Apple TV+ has once again emerged as the most powerful network in the global competition among streaming platforms. Apple has recorded the best performance in primetime with a total of 27 Emmy Awards, driven by 19 category wins in Creative Arts. Apple had previously set a platform record with 25 awards in 2025. On the other hand, HBO and HBO Max came in second place with a total of 20 awards, while Netflix came in third with 14 Emmys.
