Readers, citizens, students, local contributors and other members of the public may submit information. You do not need to be a professional journalist to submit a responsible community report.

Visual material from public events or local issues, provided you have the right to share it responsibly.
Tips, updates, and information that can help the public understand an issue that matters locally.
What You Can Submit
You may submit information related to local civic issues, public problems or complaints, community events, positive local stories, public safety updates, education and youth-related updates, local development issues, photos or videos from public events, and story ideas or news tips.
All community submissions may be reviewed before publication. News Pulse may verify the following points where needed.
Safety & Verification
Do not put yourself or others at risk. Do not enter restricted areas, interfere with emergency services, or break any law while gathering information.
News Pulse may verify details before deciding whether a submission can be used, edited, held, rejected, or treated only as a news tip.
Verification Before Publication
News Pulse may verify details such as date and location, source of information, photo or video authenticity, public interest value, legal and safety concerns, whether content may harm someone unfairly, and whether the material is copied, misleading, or defamatory.

News Pulse may reject or remove any submission that violates these standards.

Community Reporter participation does not provide a News Pulse press card, media accreditation, special access, authority to enter restricted areas, or permission to represent News Pulse.
